50th Anniversary Sugarloaf lighthouse

This year, at NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service, we're celebrating our 50th anniversary. Since 1967 we’ve been proudly protecting and preserving our natural landscapes, wildlife, culture and heritage. To celebrate, we’re hosting events and guided tours all over NSW. With two events taking place at some of the hottest whale watching spots on the NSW coast it’s the perfect opportunity to get involved and enjoy NSW national parks and your memories of them while doing some whale watching.

Celebrate 50 years: Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse


Enjoy the 50th anniversary of NPWS and impressive coastal views during a short guided tour of Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse, Seal Rocks, which will be open for the day.
Price: Free
When: Sunday 1 October 2017, 9.30am to 4.30pm

Celebrate 50 years: Byron Bay


Join us at Cape Byron Lighthouse, Byron Bay. From yoga at dawn, to lighthouse tours and kids' activities, it's a day for everyone to enjoy.
