Looking for fun, educational tours and activities for the kids these school holidays?

The whale migration has begun for another year, and there's still plenty of opportunities to spot them as they head up north to warmer waters. Check out our many whale watching tours across the NSW coast these school holidays.

Join our rangers for an exciting whale watching experience on the Coffs Coast. It's whale watching season – see how many whales you can spot out deep.

Tomaree National Park

Dates: Wednesday 10 July
Times: 9.30am – 11:30am
Price: Adult $12 per person. Child $8 per person. Family $35 for 2 adults and 2 children.

Join an NPWS ranger for a short walk to the spectacular coast as part of the Wild About Whales program. You'll spot whales on their annual migration to breed and give birth to their young. You'll pick up some helpful tips for successfully spotting these majestic creatures. You'll also hear some stories about their history and future.

Awabakal Nature Reserve

Dates: Thursday 11 July
Times: 9.30am – 11:30am
Price: Child $15 per person. Accompanying adults free.

Join in the Wild about Whales program with an NPWS guide. We'll take a short walk to a fantastic whale watching spot in Awabakal Nature Reserve. Look out for these creatures of the deep on their journey north. They're migrating to warmer waters to breed. Pick up some helpful tips for successfully spotting and identifying whales.
